Talk to your partner:

1. Do you know what a "networking event" is? Can you explain it in simple words?

2. What do you say when you meet someone new? (e.g. Hello! My name is...)

3. What questions do you ask when you meet a new person?

Teacher note: At A2 the focus is on simple introductions, job vocabulary, and basic small talk. Drill the core pattern: "Hello, I'm [name]. I work at [company]. I am a [job]." Teach: What do you do? Where do you work? Nice to meet you.

Today's situation:

You are at a small work event. You meet someone new. You talk, share information, and say goodbye.

Student A: Your name is Sam. You work at a hospital. You are a nurse. You are from Spain.
Student B: Your name is Alex. You work at a school. You are a teacher. You are from Brazil.
